Styled Wedding Detail Images and Tips
Here are some styled wedding detail images and detail tips! Last week I participated in a class for photographers to elevate their detail Images. The class was a challenge taught by Stephanie Kase and I learned so many helpful things from it! I am always furthering my photography education in order to serve my clients as well as I can.
Details are the first thing I photograph after arriving to a wedding. I take detail photography very seriously, because I know that brides put many hours of thought into all of the details of their wedding days.
I think this color palette of peach, blush, and cream is absolutely beautiful! The colors perfectly complement the rose gold shoes and ring. The bouquet is wrapped in a strand of pearls which is a sweet accent to the pastel colors.
I wrote a blog post to help educate my brides on how to get the best detail images on their wedding day. You can read that blog post here! Here are some additional details tips for your wedding that were not included in that post:
- Choosing all your jewelry in the same color metal creates a consistent and cohesive look!
- If you like the look of veil images but do not want to wear a veil, just let me know and I will bring some tulle with me to create the veil look!
- If you do wear a veil, consider a long one! Long veils are beautiful, dreamy, and photograph beautifully!
- If there are specific detail items you want photographed together, let me know! For example, an heirloom hair clip and necklace from a relative.
- Perfume bottles are always beautiful in wedding detail images! If you wear a new perfume on your wedding, you can remember the day each time you wear the perfume after!
- If you have a separate bouquet to toss, I can photograph it when I photograph your other details.
- Have vases for bouquets to stay in while you are getting ready. This will keep them in better shape than if they are laying flat.
