Brandon, MS Engagement Session

Here are just a few of my favorite images from this fun Brandon, MS engagement session! I loved getting to work with Demonparis and Aaroney. We photographed their engagement session in the beautiful town of Brandon, Mississippi.

We had planned to have the engagement session at a local park, but we had to choose a new location, because the park was temporarily closed. We decided to take the portraits outside of a building near the park which turned out to be a beautiful location! We were able to get a lot of variety in their images all at one location. This was great, because we did not have a lot of time to spare, because it was unexpectedly going to rain.

Despite the weather, the overcast sky provided beautiful, soft light. We were hoping to find a location with flowers, and it turned out that there were colorful potted flowers and other greenery growing around one side of the building. The bright spring foliage was the perfect accent to the images. And we were able to get all of the portraits before the rain started!

This was the first time I had the opportunity to photograph a portrait session in the city of Brandon. It is such a beautiful city and full of great photography locations. I hope to take more portraits there in the future!

It was great to catch up with Demonparis! He and I met at Holmes Community College where we took many of the same classes. And I loved getting to meet Aaroney! I had a wonderful time getting to work with them and I wish them a wonderful and blessed marriage. I am so thrilled that they chose me to photograph their engagement portraits.
